CACHI
Nevado de Cachi is the name given to a vast mountain range located in the province of Salta, Argentina. This mountain range includes several peaks, the highest of which is Cumbre Libertador, at 6,380 meters. This peak was first climbed in 1950. The mountains overlook Cachi, a traditional town in northern Argentina. The main peak is rarely climbed (fewer than five expeditions per year), and the secondary peaks even less so.
